Airbus A280 Lands At London’s Heathrow Airport
Singapore Airline Airbus A380 Flight SQ308 has landed in London’s Heathrow airport completing its first European flight. The Singapore Airline arrived in London 15 minutes before its scheduled arrival time.
Each of the 470 Singapore Airlines passengers will be given a personalized certificate to honor the historic flight to the UK. Singapore Airlines has has three A380s in service which have been flying from Singapore to Sydney, Australia and they have 16 more in order. Read more
Airbus A380 Completes Flight from Singapore to Sydney
Singapore Airlines A380 long anticipated journey took place today. The worlds largest commercial jetliner with its luxurious suites, double beds, and the quietest interior plane in the world took off with 455 passengers and 30 crew members traveling from Singapores’s Changi Airport on its seven hour journey to Sydney.

Singapore Airlines Receives Airbus A380
Singapore Airlines is finally taking delivery of its Airbus A380 after waiting for two years for the largest airliner in the world. Its first destination begins Oct 28, Singapore to Sydney. The Airbus A380 double-decker plane carries up to 550 passengers, however the roomy design for Singapore Airlines more specious design seats 471.
CNN.com reports “Singapore’s jet includes a first class with 12 enclosed “suites,” each containing a seat and full-size mattress. Business class has four seats across, each reclining to become fully flat for sleeping. Economy features greater legroom, larger video screens, and a PC power outlet at each seat.” Emirates Airlines and Qantas are still waiting for delivery.
