Four Seasons In One Day
Today we started with snow, which changed to rain, then a little sleet, and finally in late afternoon the sun came out. The upper elevations at the ski areas have snow and it is certainly cold enough at night (high teens to mid 20 degrees F) to make snow and get it groomed. The forecast is for snow showers the next two days (light accumlations in other words) which should help the downhill skiing but probably won’t be enough for other sports such as cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, etc. And it certainly has not been cold enough for outdoor skating or ice fishing.
