Europe latest to unveil space tourism proposal

Just when we thought air travel couldn’t get any more expensive. For those who think money is not a problem Astrium, the space systems arm of European aerospace company EADS, says it wants to build a four-passenger rocket-equipped jet to send space tourists to an altitude of 100 km (60 miles) above the earth for just three minutes of weightlessness and a once in a lifetime view of Earth’s curvature.
The cost for the flight? Will probably be 200,000 euros or $268,000.00 and this includes one week of training. Read more on Reuters
