Delta Passangers Head To The Airport Early

Delta Air Lines said yesterday. “it will require domestic customers flying out of New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to check their baggage a minimum of 45 minutes prior to departure, effective Oct. 15.” Right now it is 30 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights. This policy change is the same as other airports such as Atlanta, Los Angeles, Orlando and Denver. The change is followed by Deltas announcement last week that they will be adding 14 more international flights from JFK by summer of 2008 and by decreasing number of flight departures during busy hours and adding larger planes to accommodate more passengers.
